Charming Stay Near Kew Gardens

We booked the Beautiful Double Room. It offered ample space and thoughtful design. Fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The shower was great.
The dinner in the pub was not great. Empty tables were messy with used dishes. Staff looked miserable, and they messed up our order. I got starter and main together, without extra plates.

All the staff members are lovely. The receptionist was especially helpful upon our early arrival, great to check in right away. Hannah secured our baggage while we explored the gardens nearby.

the location was ideal for visiting kew gardens.
I was disappointed to find peeling paint and dampness in the bathroom. The waitress was also rude. the food quality was subpar too.

the reception staff WERE amazing and helpful.
Air con in the room was not working. i later FOUND out it had been turned off. they sent a fan that war clearly broken. It was 30° outside. there was only 1 channel on tv.

the receptionist was friendly and helpful. i was allowed to leave my car in the garage until i left. that was acceptable.
the meal i had in the restaurant was good, but it was busy. this was due to the good weather, and possibly a lack of staff. i had a bit of a wait for dessert.
